The AI Wallpaper Quality Standard (AWQS) is an independent quality framework designed to objectively evaluate and score AI-generated wallpapers for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices on a scale from 0 to 100.

Every wallpaper is evaluated across five equally weighted criteria (up to 20 points each), which combine to determine the final overall AWQS score:

Rating Tiers & Categories

90 – 100 (Masterclass / Premium Standard): Peak quality. Flawless sharpness, sublime composition, and zero AI artifacts. Ready for high-end display.

80 – 89 (Excellent Quality): High-caliber artwork with superb lighting and detail. Features minor, non-distracting visual variations.

70 – 79 (Standard Grade): Solid quality, but may contain slight AI traits or less optimal screen framing.

This strict, objective scoring model assesses each image across five core pillars (totaling 100 points) to guarantee professional-grade quality for your screen.
The evaluation criteria and point deduction rules per pillar are structured as follows:
1. Composition (Max 20 pts)

Full Points (20): The primary subject is perfectly balanced, framing aligns accurately with background elements, and there is no awkward cropping or structural imbalance.

Minor Deduction (-2 to -5): Framing deviates slightly from the optical center of gravity.

Major Deduction (-10 or more): The subject is out of alignment, background elements crop illogically, or the overall balance is disrupted.
2. Detail & Sharpness (Max 20 pts)

Full Points (20): Fine textures, intricate patterns, and focal elements are crystal-clear and razor-sharp when viewed at 100% zoom, free of compression artifacts or blurriness.

Minor Deduction (-2 to -5): Minor texture imperfections that are only noticeable upon zooming in.

Major Deduction (-10 or more): Visible AI smudging, blurry textures, or grainy artifacts on critical focal points.
3. Color & Contrast (Max 20 pts)

Full Points (20): Deep, rich color grading and dynamic contrast ranges optimized for flawless rendering across diverse screen types, with no clipped shadows or overexposed highlights.

Minor Deduction (-2 to -5): Color balance could be slightly richer or more natural.

Major Deduction (-10 or more): Extreme color casts, harsh unnatural contrasts, or severe color banding in gradients.
4. Anatomy & Structure (Max 20 pts)

Full Points (20): Completely flawless regarding human or objective anatomy. Absolutely free of ghost heads, distorted limbs, incorrect eyes, or unnatural duplication.

Major Deduction (-10 to Disqualification): Any occurrence of a ghost head, deformed hand/finger, or anatomical glitch results in an immediate deduction of at least 10 to 20 points (Zero-tolerance policy).
5. Screen Optimization (Max 20 pts)

Full Points (20): Resolution and composition are designed to scale and function seamlessly across various display dimensions (desktop, ultrawide, mobile) without losing core impact.
